Vietnam One Health Students Addressing Global Health Security Diseases from BRM One Health Perspective

This unique event is comprised of three (3) segments:

1. The first part of the event begins with a case study presentation given by VOHUN student teams, comprised of both veterinary and medical/public health students come together to develop and present cases on assigned endemic diseases relevant to Vietnam and Southeast Asia. These select student teams discuss their findings from their well-researched risk assessments and explain recommended mitigation measures on the assigned disease subject.

2. The second part of the event includes a laboratory-specific didactic session presented by a professional on the topic either from Sandia National Laboratories or from VOHUN.

3. The thirst part of the event concludes with an open panel discussion with topic-specific expert panelists. Panelists from around the world are invited to join a question-and-answer portion of the event and share their expertise on the disease to facilitate a One Health systematic perspective.
