Ms. Haddad leads the Resilient Energy Systems Mission Campaign at Sandia National Laboratories. The mission campaign is a strategic, 7-year, $50M+ Lab-Directed Research and Development (LDRD) investment focused on science and technology enabling resilient energy and other critical infrastructure systems. The resulting research is an integrated portfolio of demonstrable capabilities that address intentional energy system threats in the four marquee areas of Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and Mitigation, Electro Magnetic Pulse Mitigation, Solid State Transformers, and Defining, Measuring & Assessing Resilience.

Alex joined Sandia in 2014 starting in Critical Cyber Systems S&T leading award-winning systems mission engineering projects. She joined the Energy Security department in 2020 leading several energy operational technology cybersecurity projects.  Prior to joining Sandia Alex worked for several start-ups developing cutting edge tools for the HR and Aviation industries.

Alex holds a BS in Computer Engineering and an MBA focused on Management Information Systems, both from the University of New Mexico. She is a certified Project Management Professional, Professional Scrum Master, and Professional Scrum Product Owner.
