QCaMP Students

When you complete QCaMP, you will have:

  • The ability to think about solving computing problems in novel ways
  • Sample career paths, resources, and workforce opportunities to continue exploring
  • Hands-on experimental experience with quantum circuits

Frequently Asked Questions:

Where does the student need to live to apply?

Bay Area, CA (for the Berkeley camp) or Hollister, CA (for the Hollister camp).  In order to apply for the NM camps, the student must live in New Mexico or Navajo Nation (including AZ, UT, NM) but be able to commute to the camp.  For students staying with extended family to attend a NM camp, travel funding is available.

Is this camp residential or drop off?

Drop off. Please consider this in travel distance and time when applying.

How old does my student have to be to apply?

Students must be 16 years or older by the beginning of QCaMP.

Can Seniors who graduate in May 2025 still apply?

Yes.

What are important dates to keep in mind?

Applications open: February 1, 2025
Applications close: April 1, 2025
Program dates: June 30 – July 25, 2025
