Using Plato a designer can generate designs that are optimized to meet functional requirements. Plato is a linux-based application that is launched via a command-line interface. A graphical user interface is being developed for targeted Plato applications.
Plato is available in a licensed version to qualified agencies or contractors. It is available for U.S. Government agencies and contractors working under contract to the U.S. Government or one of its agencies. Additional information on obtaining a no-fee site license is detailed below.
Also available is the open source version that includes a limited set of objectives and constraints. For access to the open source version of Plato visit https://github.com/sandialabs/plato
