Biography

Luke is a member of the Radiation Effects and Theory department and has been at Sandia since 2019. Luke’s research interests include electron-photon atomic cross-sections development for Monte Carlo and deterministic radiation transport, adjoint cross-sections, and Monte Carlo techniques for next-generation platforms.

Education

Luke graduated for the University of Dallas in 2011 with a B.S. in Physics. In 2019 he graduated with a M.S. and Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. His dissertation was on “Forward-Adjoint Electron Monte Carlo in FRENSIE: The Framework for REsearch in Nuclear ScIence and Engineering”.
