Most Sandia employees call the city of Albuquerque home, New Mexico’s largest city with a population of more than 560,000, but many employees live in the nearby cities and towns that make up the greater Albuquerque area.
From the city of Rio Rancho and the village of Corrales found west of the Rio Grande River to the eastern mountain towns of Tijeras and Edgewood, the greater Albuquerque area offers a variety of rich communities for Sandia employees to call home. Additionally, to the north are the towns of Bernalillo and Placitas, to the south are Los Lunas and Belen.
Throughout the greater Albuquerque area you will experience enormous skies, beautiful vistas, delicious food and friendly people.
