Our program included a keynote presentation by Dr. William F. Brinkman
(Director of the Office of Science), who set the context
for science and technology challenges in infrastructure security. There
were presentations and posters from scientists, engineers, and managers
in the NNSA LDRD Program describing ongoing research in areas that impact
critical infrastructure security issues. Finally, a panel of officials from
industry, academia and government discussed current and
future technical R&D challenges facing our nation's critical infrastructure.
