Nuclear deterrence all-hands meeting highlights California site collaboration

CROSS-SITE COLLABORATION — Laura McGill, deputy Laboratories director for Nuclear Deterrence, and Steve Girrens, associate Laboratories director for Nuclear Deterrence Components and Production, led a Labswide, hybrid all-hands meeting at Sandia California on June 4. The event highlighted the collaborative work performed at the California site. The hybrid meeting featured presentations from Andy McIlroy, associate Laboratories director for Integrated Security Operations, and Rita Gonzales, associate Laboratories director for Nuclear Deterrence Modernization and Stockpile Systems. Joining virtually from Steve Schiff Auditorium in Albuquerque, Ernie Wilson described the new center he’s leading, which is focused on developing technical and programmatic solutions for future nuclear deterrence needs.
