Nuclear deterrence all-hands meeting highlights California site collaboration

CROSS-SITE COLLABORATION — Laura McGill, deputy Laboratories director for Nuclear Deterrence, and Steve Girrens, associate Laboratories director for Nuclear Deterrence Components and Production, led a Labswide, hybrid all-hands meeting at Sandia California on June 4. The event highlighted the collaborative work performed at the California site. STOCKPILE AND MODERNIZATION PROGRAMS — Dan Fonte, director for Nuclear Deterrence Component Engineering, talks about the work his center is doing in California, including providing instrumented flight bodies and collecting performance data to support the annual stockpile assessment letter.
The hybrid meeting featured presentations from Andy McIlroy, associate Laboratories director for Integrated Security Operations, and Rita Gonzales, associate Laboratories director for Nuclear Deterrence Modernization and Stockpile Systems.
