A power tower rises

SOLAR PLANS — A time-lapse camera, front right, has been placed on-site at the National Solar Thermal Test Facility to capture the construction of the Generation 3 Particle Pilot Plant, rendered on the right, to demonstrate integrated particle-based concentrating solar power with six hours of thermal energy storage.
