Biography

Noah B. Schorr is a Postdoctoral Appointee at Sandia National Laboratories in the Photovoltaics & Materials Tech organization. He received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from Western Washington University in 2015 and his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019. His research interests include developing energy storage materials, application of fundamental electrochemical principles, and instrumental analysis of battery components.

Research Interests

  • Developing energy storage materials, testing new formulations or novel compounds in battery systems
  • Designing experiments focused on the application of fundamental electrochemical principles towards understanding behavior of battery electrodes
  • Combining a suite of instrumental techniques to analyze energy storage mechanisms
