Concentrating Solar Program Manager
Biography
Dr. Margaret Gordon is the manager of Sandia National Laboratories’ Concentrating Solar Technologies Program at the National Solar Thermal Test Facility with a staff of over 25 engineers, scientists, technologists, and students. Margaret is a PhD inorganic chemist, who has 20 years of experience working in multiple programs across Sandia, most recently in solar photovoltaic research. She served as deputy director of the five-year, $30 million DuraMAT Consortium with NREL, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and is now the Sandia lead for NREL’s HelioCon Heliostat Consortium, a DOE-SETO funded five-year consortium.
