
Dr. Justin Quinn Olmstead is a historian for Sandia National Laboratories, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Prior to that, he was Associate Professor of History at the University of Central Oklahoma. He has multiple books and numerous chapters, and articles to his name. From Nuclear Weapons to Global Security: 75 Years of Research and Development at Sandia National Laboratories is his most recent book. Other titles include Reconsidering Peace and Patriotism during the First World War, Britain in the Islamic World: Imperial and Post-Imperial Connections, and The United States’ Entry into the First World War: The Role of British and German Diplomacy. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Armed Services Institute in the Center for Military Life, Thomas University; Visiting Fellow at the Center for Peace & Security, Coventry University, UK; and an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Society for Terrorism Research. Dr. Olmstead earned his Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield, England and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
