I am a senior member of the technical staff in the machine intelligence and visualization department here at Sandia National Labs. I received my PhD in Computational Science, Engineering and Math from UT Austin in 2021 and went straight to Sandia as the first S. Scott Collis Data Science Fellow. My research interests primarily lie in developing unsupervised algorithms for challenging real-world datasets, as well as open and FAIR data sharing. During my time at Sandia I have managed the FAIRification and release of many unique datasets, including extensive materials characterization databases and the first curated automatic identification system dataset with a large body of historically validated ground truth. I am passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion inside and outside Sandia National Labs; I love both teaching and learning about equitably accessible science (and particularly equitably accessible data).
