Overview
TITANS AutonomyNM gives students the opportunity to innovate and implement autonomous vehicle technologies for our national security mission. AutonomyNM recruits and trains the best and brightest interns from world-class institutions to be the next generation of engineers and scientists. They assist our staff to develop new capabilities and demonstrate cutting-edge research in the lab and beyond. AutonomyNM also provides opportunities to develop the leadership, technical, and professional skills necessary to positively impact the nation through autonomy R&D.
What You Gain
AutonomyNM interns will gain skills in one or more of the following areas:
- Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
- Sensors for navigation
- Automated target recognition
- Image and digital signal processing
- Navigation and guidance
- Advanced control
- Modeling and simulation of dynamic systems
- Algorithm development
- Embedded systems
- Systems engineering and integration
Students will have the opportunity to work with a research mentor and/or team in one or more of these areas in support of innovative technology development for the national interest.
