Infrastructure Operations Associate Laboratories Director
As the Infrastructure Operations Associate Labs Director for Sandia National Laboratories, Jeff oversees a nationwide, diverse, and multidisciplinary mission. His division provides the Labs, and its many national security partners, a wide-ranging portfolio of capabilities, including facilities management and systems engineering; maintenance and operations; stewardship, strategy, and sustainment; construction up to capital line items; and comprehensive Environmental Safety and Health programs. He champions stringent protocols, policy compliance, emergency management, and fosters a culture of safety awareness throughout all of Sandia’s facilities. His commitment ensures the workforce has clean, well-maintained, and operable facilities that enable Sandia’s national security mission and scientific innovation.
Before joining Sandia in April 2022, Jeff functioned in multiple senior level roles at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Idaho National Laboratory, and Naval Nuclear Laboratory. At each of these laboratories, Jeff facilitated strategic level portfolio integration and developed sustainable, value-added organizations aimed at meeting the mission requirements of the respective laboratory.
Jeff holds multiple degrees in business administration and engineering, with his doctorate in biological engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer with multiple certifications in industrial and systems engineering, leadership, and project management and controls. Jeff has nearly two decades of experience instructing as an adjunct and affiliate faculty at several Idaho colleges and universities. His background in teaching includes engineering design, nuclear facility management, project management, and instructional design. His passion for teaching and learning remains central to his ideals for staff mentorship.
