Sandia Science and Technology Park
The Sandia Science & Technology Park (SS&TP) is a 300+ acre master-planned technology community. Affiliated with Sandia National Laboratories and adjacent to Kirtland Air Force Base, companies have easy access to world-class facilities.
Sandia is in the process of completing the transition from IPv4 to IPv6, this journey impacts vendors in that our contracts will soon specify the need for hardware and software to be capable of operating in an IPv6-only environment, as opposed to dual-stack, in acquisitions going forward. These requirements must be expressed using the U.S. Government version 6, USGv6, Profile and include the requirement to demonstrate compliance with those requirements through the USGv6 Test Program. Our goals are that at least 20 percent of IP-enabled assets on Federal networks are operating in IPv6-only environments by 2023. 50 percent by 2024, and 80 percent by 2025.
Sandia is dedicated to purchasing products and services that adhere to high quality standards and meet the goals of our national security programs.
Diverse work with key technology partners enhances Sandia’s ability to execute our core mission and build a technology and research and development base.
