Three Sandia designed and fabricated Explosive Destruction Systems (EDS) began operations to destroy 1200 munitions at US Army Non-Stockpile Chemical Materiel Agency’s Pine Bluff Arsenal in Arkansas on June 13. Items slated for destruction include recovered chemical munitions that have been in storage at PBA for approximately 20 years and German Tracktor Rockets brought to the U.S. at the end of WW2.
