The Microscale Immune Studies Laboratory (MISL) Grand Challenge concluded at the end of FY08. Accomplishments of the MISL team include 14 papers published or manuscripts submitted, a recent Biophotonics International journal cover, eight technical advances, and several patents pending or in preparation. In addition to these technical accomplishments, MISL has led to a strategic partnership with the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and two funded National Institutes of Health projects (one Sandia-led, one UTMB-led).
